No Filter, No Mask

I don't use filters on the selfies I take of myself.

Nor do I wear makeup, or make my hair all fancy just for one pictiure.

When I take selfies; my hair is down, there's makeup, no edits, and especially no filters.

I believe that make up is a mask that hides true beauty. As for filters, all they do is make a picture look "better" or more appealing to the eye.

 So that's why I love taking selfies looking natural. Natural beauty is one of the best kinds of beauty.

I'm not afraid to be myself or hide the way I am.

I don't care about how many likes or comments I may get on a picture I post of myself.

I just want people to like me just the way I am. 

Not for my looks, though. For my personality. To me, looks are just a bonus.

I'm a very kind hearted, sweet, loving, caring, down to earth, and an accepting person. 

And that's one of the most important things people should know about me.

I just hope that by looking at the smile on my face in my selfies, that people can see that in me.
