No Harm Will Come

My day dreams run marathons

Around healing scars and

Grandiose ideals come to life.

Innocent smiles shattered by tears

Caused by fears we will never understand

Inside minds that sob for love and

No violence, no screams, but abandoned.

Youth revitalizes the will to be,

Only I listen to guide and help them

Understand that no one understands injustice.

A little hand needs only to grasp another as

New lives form and old wounds fade into

Dark scars and fear is replaced with life.

My heart yearns to comfort as words heal

Each child deserving all the love in the world.
