No Love

Her hands are cold in mine. So lifeless without affection. I know before she says it she’s in love with another. I am no longer important, she no longer holds me in her heart, they are the one she wants. They are the one she craves. I am left in the dark. Burned by her words, locked out of her heart. I am looking into her eyes so much darkness, so much sadness, but so much hope as she hugs me goodbye. But I don’t feel safe in her arms anymore instead it’s as though I am falling in my own black hole, there is no love.
