No material things

The water you ask for will eventually run dry,

You will be so thirsty there will be no tears to cry,

The journal you ask for to document your thoughts,

Will then become useless when your brain slowly rots,

You will ask for a friend to help you in need,

But then turn disappointed when they only show greed,

The soul can see things the eyes cannot,

No matter stranded in the cold or the hot,

It feels the passion deep within,

The voice in my heart saying you will win,

So no object or book could ever replace,

The feeling in my heart, the God of grace,

With the power shining deep inside,

There is nothing impossible and no reason to hide,

Bring in on world when I am alone,

Because I know that I do not have to do it on my own.
