No Me Without You

You left.

A hole is what you left with me.

When you left.

I didn't know how to act.

So I went with the flow,

no sense of

direction,

knowing where to go.

I want to hate you,

and I say I do,

but the more I try,

the more I get torn up inside.

I try to act cool.

But all I can think about is you.

You and me.

What used to be.

What could be.

What I wish still was.

Left alone.

Trying to figure out myself.

Who I was.

Who I am.

Who I should be.

I try to replace the memories and feel less blue,

but then someone,

there is always someone,

to remind me of how good I was with you.
