No Means No

There is one thing I am very proud of to this day

I don't drink alcohol and I am very proud to say

There are several reasons why I refrain

My values, religious reasons, taking care of my body and to stay sane

I have seen what alcohol can do to family and friends

DUI's, loss of jobs, are a few and it is a sin

I have always been in sports and stayed in shape

Alcohol can cause nausea and headaches

When drinking,  you become someone else

You may become assertive, emotional, foolish and not yourself

Some  drink to be social or like the taste

Some because of peer pressure or life's fast pace

But I still say no because this is what I choose

I live my life to the fullest too
