No More
What once was living lives no more.
What once was rich is now poor.
All beautiful things come to an end,
Good and evil begin to blend.
What once loved loves no more.
What once was whole is hollow to the core.
All light has vanished to never be found,
Everyone has gone without a sound.
All that one knows is known no more.
Knowledge and reason have run out the door.
Leaving them feeling unwanted.
The past and present leave them haunted.
What once was you is you no more.
What once was a joy is now a bore.
All that can be wished is a dream,
Leaving tears to run like a stream.
A once upon a time no more.
While the heart leaves one sore.
All that once was is now gone,
Leaving one to lie awake in the dawn.
