no more fool's gold

She was pretty but so was I She was out there but I was shy With her by day and next to me by night I had to hide while she stood by your side It was clear that I just wasn’t worth the fight My heart was bullet proof Saving me every time you shot me I rose How I survived the heartbreak no one knows And when you said my name my heart froze Hoping that we’d be stuck in the moment and that I’d have total control Then it hit me that I was better than that I was smart strong and beautiful in fact I didn’t have to be second to her Or the a shadow for guy’s to react I came out of the shadows the last night I said no more to feeling like pyrite I was finally the real gold and any guy who found me had fount an mine

Tricina012

Hi may name is Tricina Gambrell. I know you’re probably wondering what sets me apart from all your other applicants. Well let me put it to you in a way that only I could answer. I am an A and B student, I am an extremely hard worker, and I am an overcomer. I think that to understand me you first have to know my Cinderella story. I was given away when I was a baby, the family that took me in gave me a life I would have never had if my biological mother had kept me. I was raised well and given everything I needed and wanted. But they couldn’t protect me from life catching up to me. When I was nine I was taken away from my family and given to my biological father. I lived with my dad my five brothers and my older sisters, all of which a month before I didn’t know I had. My father was abusive he hit us with everything. My god mother fought to help me but cps just didn’t seem to care. For years neighbors called CPS, every time they came and we talked we were beaten and moved away. It wasn’t until I was thirteen and all of my brothers moved away that I had escaped my father’s grasp. I spent two years In CPS before I was back with my Godmother. I don’t regret anything that I’ve been through in life because, I understand to get somewhere you have to go through something. I’ve overcame all of the obstacles thrown at me including making it out of high school and now I’m ready for my college. I know that I will be someone great and that I will do something great. I know that if I didn’t have the life I had I wouldn’t have found my passion. I now know that I want to become a veterinarian and I wanted to start my own home for needy teens and I can’t do it without an education. I hope that whoever it is who reads now knows a little about me and is willing to help me out and scholarship or not thanks for the consideration.
