No More Lies

I have no more lies to go by

A dark sky in the brink of night

Leads me towards a girl who cries

She lifts her head and asks me why

I have come to see her die

I tell her that she has to try

And she says with a heavy sigh

I will love you to the day I'm tried

By angels or demons, I'll be your guide

Your constant light, your gleaming sky

We lived together side by side

But slowly we tore, it was a matter of time

My cheating tore a hole inside

Of her heart that could not be disguised

I hurt her too much, and every time she denied

A loss of feeling I knew it was a lie

A past experience, one of senseless pride

Was enough to divide the love of my life

From me, the one, she had brought inside

The soul of hers, so bright and brushed aside

By me the idiot, who had lied
