With No Need

What would I be with no need ?

As free as a bee

Or as crazy as the sea?

Without a need would I be

Like a spring flower

With no morning dew?

Or a night crawler

Without the moon shining through?

I believe without a need

I’d feel completely empty.

No one would ever see-

Not one would understand me .
