No One Cares

Sometimes I wonder why people say no

Sometimes I wonder why everything has to be so hard

Sometimes I wonder how parents choose the way they parent a child

Sometimes I wonder why people have such a hard time with trust

And now I know that it has nothing to do with the person

And everything to do with experiences

How they were parented

And how they act

But when you think about

The less the rules you have the less you’ll act out

And the more rules you have the more rules you’ll want to break

Ladies and gentleman my life has everything to do with rules

The tears that fall down my face are never because of a boy

They’re always about rules

Every time you break one

You get a new one

Until it’s too much

Too many chains pulling you down

Too many people thinking it’s okay to leave you there to die

Well stop.

Because it’s not okay to leave anyone to die

It’s not okay to weigh someone down with so many burdens

That they can’t even move

“How are you, Mia?”

“I’m Fine,” no

no

no

no.

I’m not

Stop lying to the only person that cares because they will either care more

Or stop caring at all.

Stop lying to the only person that you’ve found in your life that has ever cared that much

Because before you know it

They’ll leave you too

Just like everyone else

No one cares

No one cares if you lie if they never find out

No one cares if write a poem that has every single detail of your life poured into it

They’ll never read it.

No one cares

No one cares

No

One

Cares

Take my word for it friends.

I’m not usually wrong when it comes to this.

That's the thing about pain. It demands to be felt. -John Green
