No one else
I saw the world for what was and no one else would listen.
And so it became that my thoughts were bursting from their prison
and when I was at my lowest point she was there to hear me
No matter what I spat she would never fear me
and soon I began to speak so much my thoughts became my vision
I might be an insignificant person but to her I'm one in a million
To her I speak knowledge and wisdom but no one else seems to comprehend
She speaks motivation when I rip my page and start again
No one has her essence
It's like I'm walking in the heavens
And I'm at my best when it's just her and me
So thank you poetry
