No One Knows
The two sides are fighting,
no one is sure why,
is it about control?
is it about emotions?
I'm afraid no one knows.
The cycle we are caught up in,
is dangerous
to me
to you
To everyone here.
We are a broken soul,
forced to watch the pain
Why are we crying?
Why do we fear?
Our end, is it near?
A valiant knight lies broken,
an islander screams in agony,
a child cries for her mommy,
A queen is lost in darkness,
a mother is dying.
A pirate has fallen with his ship,
a desire fades away,
the wolves silently pass,
this fight must end,
these emotions must go.
Who won this fight
no one is sure who,
was it about control?
was it about emotions?
I'm afraid no one knows.
