No One But Me
Like whiskey
Under my skin
I fall off the wagon
I lose myself
In you
Too much to lose
That's what I tell myself
To rid myself
Of this guilt
And shame
For playing this game
Playing with this fire
I should know better
Then to touch a live wire
Don't tell me
To stop
Don't ask me
To explain it
I can't quit you
I don't want to
I need it
I don't need you
Just need that rush
Need your touch
I'm not asking for much
No one has to know
Or get hurt
No one but me
No one has to see
What goes on between you and me
No one has to know
A dirty little secret
A beautiful disaster
Spinning out of control
Faster and faster
I don't mind
Just give me what I need
I don't need you
I need it
Don't tell me
To stop
Enough is enough
When I say it is
Don't hang up on me
Let me be
Hung up on you
Just like needing a drag
From a cigarette
A last sip
From a brandy
I don't need you
But I got to have it
I can't quit
Got to chase this fire
Because I only feel
When I'm touching that live wire
Touching you feels real
And I need
Something
To help me feel
No one has to know
No one is getting hurt
No one
But me
