No One To Talk To

I walk down the hallways,
And only get glances,
From people who think
They’re better than me.
I sit in the classroom,
With no one to talk to.
Cliques gather around me,
With friends to spare.
Cherish them while you can,
Cause you could end up like me.
A sixteen year old girl,
With no one to talk to.
The worst feeling of all?
Being completely alone.
No matter who I turn to,
I’m always told the same thing.
That I’m the one to blame,
It’s no one else but me.
I’m tired of their excuses,
And they’re tired of my complaints.
I keep stuff to myself now,
For fear of being yelled at.
Although its not just school,
It’s church and everywhere else too.
All I can do is watch,
As I lose people left and right.
No more best friends or confidante.
It’s just me and my family.
I cry myself to sleep at night,
Because I know I’ve given up the fight.
