She lays there

Her body in effortless pain

She cries out

People are surrounding her 

Yet there is no one to help

They're laughing 

She is scared and alone

The floor is cold 

And she can feel the helplessness

All she wants is to be loved

Trying to get up

She is pushed back down

She wishes someone would tell her it's okay

Lifting her head she realizes 

No one will ever understand

She's different and won't be changed
