No Race For Me

No Race For Me

I was born In America,
Parents didn’t come by car,
They came from afar,
I’m not black nor white
Let’s keep it tight,
I’m here to stay,
No race for me today,

I will not panic,
You see I’m not Hispanic,
I’m all over tan,
I’m not native Indian,
Nor  will I be Asian,
In my heart I’m Americian,
But still no race for me

I play baseball and football,
I stand tall, most of all,
I will not fall,
My future is bright,
I can see the light,
You see I’m right,
But, there’s still no race for me,

I will not be called other,
Because I have a mother,
Stop the hate,
For Life is great,
You can see it in my face,
There is only one race,
We all belong to the human race.
