No Sand In Hourglass

The rhyme, the lines, the passion

All curdle and boil in a similar fashion

At first the taste is bitter

but now it couldn't be sweeter

And the pencil and the paper play tricks

While hand weaves succulent tales into the mix

the sands of time in poetry will run out, alas!

So write until there's no sand left in our glass.
