No! She's not gone

No, she’s not gone
She was here a moment ago
With those gracious smiles that healed my soul
But where is the first lover that I know

For her, I can give my life
Without her, this isn’t even life
Her absence left a hole in my heart
For this I seek healing through art

As the pain ripped through my chest
Inside of my heart I felt a disconnect
And so pain became my middle name
Since I lost my heart in this game

But wait a minute, I remember her smiles
That face always left a glimmer in my eyes
She was the wheel that kept me rolling
Now her absence has left me broken

No, she’s not gone
For there’s a place where she lives on
Within the depths of my heart she lives
Forevermore in a place she’ll never leave.
