No Sleep

Even when I am gripped with feelings of sweeping exhaustion I cannot sleep without you.

Sleep, or rest of any sort, escape me... gently calling out to me but remaining out of arms reach. For my heart, mind and body do not know true rest without you.

When you are next to me, your love so near it warms me like a fire,

sleep and rest come effortlessly.

When you are gone natural sleep is

elusive

at best... a dream but for those who do not know a love as intoxicating as ours.
