No Solution

Anger is the mishap of rage that sits on your heart until it contracts, an off beat

Words are the everlasting scratching that express anger no matter if you wiped the record clean.

Silence is avoiding with words, fearing the power that "sorry" seizes.

Regret prepares a dark cloud over your head every time your eyes meet

Confrontation forces your chest to pound like fast drum beats,

and you begin to contemplate doing the humanly thing,

talking THROUGH your anger and getting PAST this sin.

And then you wonder why no one attempted to do this to begin with.

Too bad it’s too late to take back the words that still blend

in with the records of emotions that you've burdened.

We were supposed to forgive and forget

but the scratching in your ear re-offends.

So, Anger finds comfort on your heart once again.

There will never be an end to your recurring trend.
