No Truer Sight
The gathered and solitary watched, alike nigh truths.
Nearing as knowing persons see the fearing untoward,
an errant eye, as such reward
sees no longer forward view:
a rhyme, or song, or little comforts.
Far toward, to ward few to
The mockery.
Morbid rather.
For making a painstakingly mistaken spyglass,
Receiving glass sight sudden,
makes one crass quite shut in.
To err as making a pallid reduction darken,
to ensure they get their mark in,
Foreseen the ending lives light snuffed, will tint.
to obscure the bright and brilliant went,
Desperation sets as decks pass and pace slows,
faint are hymns or some such congregation,
you stop, and damning thine own curious, want, selfish,
This abhorrent knowing shall spread not past but I,
A lie, cannot paint my mind or will or soul much darker,
Feeling now its quality, ne'er shalt be shared, as deepest pitch.
Songs sung solely for the morale, rich saturated vibrancy,
which I can see, as if he who brands with bleach bone'd fingers,
These singers spared of their end, with no fear foreknown
In joyous merriment, you sit, not too near, with pain alone.
You inspire your men, whilst known IS their fated ends.
Will of resolute focus, callous not your mission.
pain'd of your compassionate omission, shields their fearful end it bends.
Man is alone.
Barren is his crop and Barren his domain.
Though spared of much the others are of death in vain,
Peaceful slumber of the endless deep black calm,
You will walk in life, no salve, potion, herb, or balm
can resolve or tame mind's cruel inherent brand of pain.
