So many enemies and no allies

No more hellos only goodbyes

So many have turned their backs

And now the lack of trust has reached an all time high

They question me why...and I respond with a sigh

I think to myself how could relationships that were once flourishing become so dry

How could you go from being the apple of my eye to a figment in my mind

 From being in my heart to out of my life

Your words seemed kind but they cut like a knife

Now i'm scarred for life.
