No Where To Be Seen

I tried to find the quote that said it just right, I tried to find the image that depicted it just right, but I just couldn't find the words that said it, or pictures that withheld those memories that left a dark place in my heart

I was there for you, when you needed me I was there, every day, every night, every tear, more than one probably should be, but I was there

The day my tragedy came you were nowhere to be seen, you just didn't show, the tears that I shed, I shed alone and privately, and where were you in my darkest hour and where were you when I needed somebody, somebody just like me , just to be there, to let me feel the comfort knowing that I meant something to you, that my life mattered to you, that my sadness matter to you, that my tragedy meant something to you, like yours did to me, but it didn't, I overcame myself to be there for you but you couldn't overcome the wall that was inside of you or the mirror reflecting only you, now you want to be a part of my life again. Wanting me to forgive you and believe that you love me

But the person I was before I no longer am, I've built a wall around myself around the heart that no longer allows me the opportunity to be hurt by people who truly aren't there, some people say that you should forgive others and we want to move forward, I'm human and I can no longer allow myself the pain that comes with forgiveness of a person who's actions hurt me on the deepest level, bruising the smallest part of my loving heart
