No Wings

Don’t feel fraught,

After you just got shot.

Overused and confused,

Careful with the thoughts you choose.

Just don’t look that way,

The draw brings pain,

Then you get sent an okay?

What is she saying?

BOOM, just got shot.

Well, that’s all I’ve got.

I am to go pinch off both ears, and cut both eyes,

Just so I don’t have to wear a smile-faced disguise.

I am ran to the ground,

I hope she is happy with what she has found.

Because a bird with no wings,

Certainly can’t sing.
