No wings, No Halo Angels

Angels with no wings. Blonde, blue-eye angels, Brunette, African- American angels, I’ve seen them all! Angels who spoke a different dialect. Heavily- accented angels, Soft- spoken angels, I’ve heard them all! Angels without a halo. They were at school, I talked to them on the streets, I’ve spoken to them all. Angels are God-given people, No wings, no halo, no English necessary. Everyday type of people. People who encourage you, People who celebrate your victory, People who smooth out your path in life. People who do the most natural things, in the most unnatural way. As far as angels in Heaven goes, With wings, halo and glorious sounds, I will let you know soon. But here on Earth, I’ve seen, heard and spoken to them all. I call them family, friends and even strangers.
