No wishing

Wed, 10/14/2015 - 16:16 -- joce771

a glass slipper

a beautiful gown

a handsome prince

a sparkly crown

all of these things I pray I will have

all of these things are a dream that's so sad

no reason to listen

no reason to care

wishes are useless

to much to bear

Ive given up hope on the dreams of all that

they just step on me as if I am a mat

but if I did allow myself to pray for those things

I would be wishing for the best of all things

but I do not wish

it always just kills

I would rather watch away

from those "thrills"

I will not give in to the wishing.

Not Tonight
