Now you take those 12 years to renovate your mind to educate your mind and let time pass as consequences because you never try to make a difference when they said, “you are not going to be a somebody” I said, “you are not going to be a somebody, never don’t even think about it because you are just wasting your time” and you believed them.

Sometimes, being in school or being around certain people can make us feel like we are not as important as we once thought we were, like you state in your poem, but we have to believe that we can each be somebody and do something worthwhile, just as long as we try our best and stay true to ourselves
