Nobody

Proverbs 19:3

3 The foolishness of a man twists his way,
And his heart frets against the Lord.

Nobody’s fool

Calling constantly … crying in the wind

Hurry up to get nowhere … feeling satisfied

Writing script … where self has been

Using trackless paper … for survival in the night

Studying the swamp … absorbing every detail

Building there your home without any walls

Totally exposed with others who have failed

Still, feel all alone blaming others for your fall

Maybe time will heal self-inflicted wounds

Maybe you can hide the scars left behind

Maybe you can show that you’re nobody’s fool

Maybe you’ll succeed with your own kind
