Nobody Cares

I am numb Or so it appears Deep inside I wish I felt nothing I wish there was no pain But everything hurts Every 'caring' word burns Every broken promise is remembered And yet all are blind No one sees my pain And no one cares So here in the darkness I sit I am Nobody and Every One Here Every One sees me And Nobody cares Nobody knows my pain And Every One listens to my silence This is my bleak existence Where I am the only one I stand alone With Nobody beside me And Every One behind me Outside no one sees me Inside Nobody knows the truth.
