Nobody Is Perfect

You say "practice makes perfect," But I don't think that's correct. Since "nobody is perfect," That's what you told me, correct? I practice my shots daily, But they don't swish perfectly. I do my homework daily, Yet I don't score perfectly. However, in my own taste, Perfection is standard-based. My effort is what matters, That I climbed many ladders. No looks like Aphrodite, I'm just the best I could be. Of myself, I'm satisfied, Of who I am, I feel pride. My name is Nobody Right, "Nobody is perfect" right?

Uknowwho

I'm currently a high school student. In the past, I had written poems as a birthday gift for my friends or to express my feelings to others. I'm here to continue my love for poetry and hopefully earn a scholarship for college.
