Noctiphany

Sat, 01/04/2020 - 02:10 -- A Finch

I dream’t you on the pillow beside me.

Lips silent, only our eyes speaking

So quiet, so gentle, so freely

Till I found myself thinking

That we should kiss;

Would it be so wrong if we did?

But if we do give onto this

Would we even remember it?

Isn’t it pretty to think so,

Foolish as it may seem.

I wonder if you love me though

Last night was but a dream.

I had a beautiful dream last night

That we were together.

I had a beautiful dream last night

That is all I can remember.
