Blurred blemishes and teeth whitener

Show people what they want to see,

not who I am.

WIthout the filters and edits,

I am perfectly imperfect.

I have pimples and bags under my eyes.

I'm not as tan as I appear.

My eyes aren't really that green,

and my hair is probably sticking up somewhere.

Without the filters and edits,

I am perfectly imperfect.

The pimples and bags show that stressed and hardworking.

The pale skin shows I'm not fake.

My eyes are beautiful even when they are dull,

and my hair probably looks cute with pieces sticking up.

Without the filters and the edits,

I am the perfectly imperfect me.

This is a poem I wrote trying to show that it's okay to post things that aren't edited. You can still be yourself in front of a camera without having to change everything about yourself.
