I look and the mirror and what do i see?

It's flawed face and it's staring back at me

I add a little eyeliner, a little mascara too

Maybe a dab of concealer

Will that do?

I look at the mask I wear and I feel my heart begin to ache

For what is staring back is nothing but a fake

This is not me, makeup shouldn't define who I am

Yet I hide behind it just because people give a damn

They give a damn if you're not pretty

They give a damn if you're not thin

Those people look down upon you because you don't belong with them

My face is chubby, it has acne too

My tummy is pudgy with love handles

So I must be a fool to think I'm like you

Why does it matter?

to me beauty is small

Because every body there is comes with a flaw

#Nofilter

It's what we should support

Everyone should be considered beautiful

But in order for that to start

The beauty has to bleed into the heart.
