Is me trying to do and be my best.

Me with no filter,

Is me trying not to be like the rest.

Me with no filter,

Is me not being hindered by being black.

Me with no filter,

Is me graciously embracing that fact.

Me with no filter,

Is a young African-American man striving to reach the top.

Me with no filter,

Is a determined young man, who until he reaches his goal, will not stop.

Me with no filter,

Is being great just like my acestors before me did.

Me with no filter,

Is sharing that greatness with my future wife and kid(s).

Me with no filter,

A humble, respectful and God-fearing man.

I know I'll be truly blessed

If I just stick to His plan.
