#NoFilter

When I look in the mirror

What do I see?

I see a striking image of me, flaws and all

Without a filter, you will see the blemishes

on my face, the bump on my nose and

The slightly yellowing of my teeth

I will not use the dreamy effect to enhance my features,

I will not use the Sierra filter to soften my smile

and I will not use the Rise effect to

make my skin glow

I will use my God given filter,

the Melanin effect with no additives.

No you will not see me smiling in black white,

what will you see is

my chocolate skin, my black hair

, my brown eyes,

and my unperfect teeth smiling

as hard as I can saying no filter , im fine just the way I am.

I do not need a filter to define me, what you see is what you get.

So keep your Instagram effects,

and your camera enhancements ,

I'm me without them,

a human that's it , no filters and all
