#NoFilter

No Filter

Freckles and high cheek bones.

That's all I see.

Bright blue eyes and long, dark eyelashes

looking back at me.

A large, white smile after my braces come off.

Finally!

I'm feeling good!

My smile is genuine.

I am becoming more and more

comfortable in my own skin and

I love it!

I don't need a filter nor

do I need to tilt my iPhone just so.

I am happy with who I am, and a

filter will not capture my true essance.

I am no longer afraid of the way my freckles and cheeks

look in pictures.

I focus on my eyes, seeing happiness fill them

to the brim.

I do not need a filter to show others who I truly am.

I am finally happy with no filter.
