Who am I?

Many ask everyday

To themselves, or others

On the street or at play

Loved or rejected by their mothers

Everybody asks.

Who am I?

Eighteen, female

Psychology major

Girlfriend, sister, daughter

Abused previously by others

Truthful, honest, calm

Nurturing, loving, kind

I could go on until dawn.

So, Who am I really?

Many labels, all true

But do they really define you?
