Noise

There's nowhere I'd rather be, than tight in your embrace.
But I can't see you for now, so tears take your place.

When I cross by your street, all it does is bring back our last day.
I wish I could have thought of more, much more to say.

A missed chance is what it was, and I can't get it back.
Maybe I'll find the right words, and I can cut myself a bit of slack.

Why do I keep rhyming, pretending like getting it out there truly heals
I'm just a liar, no words could match up to the real
unspeakable, booming, agony inside.
So come home my dear, your touch  makes the noise reside
