Like None Before Me

Having gazed at you and seeing double,

My heart trembled at the ominous trouble.

To see you, a being like no other, emulated,

In a blarney manner, engenders a rage in me,

And incites me to defend your honor.

To be so blatantly compared to a mere wisp of your power

Is an insult to the highest offense for it is in such a boorish manner.

Never can there be another of you,

Your presence, electric and mine,

To be so dearly treasured until the end of time.

Everything I am, all that you are,

Together held in high esteem,

It is plain to see that in my eyes,

You are like none before me.
