None of Us Matter

It's interesting to realize just how insignificant our lives are.

Look at yourself.

One person out of seven billion and counting.

All living on the same planet devoid of any knowledge of what lurks beyond the skies.

What is waiting for you beyond our solar system?

Beyond our galaxy?

The universe. Ever-expanding. Infinite. Or so we believe. But who cares what we believe? We are a microscopic speck in comparison to the universe. And it could so happen that we are being observed right now by some higher power.

We will never truly know unless that power decides to appear to us.

Could we be a mistake? A bastard child made of matter?

Is it really just us alone in this place until we die out by some catastrophe?

Are we just a thought? We could be the product of someone else's imagination and every decision made was because they intended it to happen.

In the end, it doesn't matter. We are born, we live, we wither, and we fade away.
