Nonna
My heart,
Although just an organ,
It supports my life,
But without you,
My heart is empty.
It is like a hollow shell,
Unlike the filled wooden box you live in beneath the ground.
When I feel your presence,
On my roughest of days,
My heart becomes full again,
I can long for more sunny days.
