NORDSTROM

The shopper opened the heavy glass door,

Like entering through the gates of heaven.

The shelves of Prada and Gucci shriek to get attention.

Rain slams against the tall Seattle building.

A row of Steve Madden boots smell of authentic leather.

As hands gracefully glide over the soft cashmere sweatwes.

Michele watches tic as the store is about to close.

The shopper heads for the exit,

With bags full of expensive clothes.
