Normal

Why can't I be normal I just don"t understand

I wish I knew I was this crazy beforehand

Before I started cutting, and running, and thinking of death

Because now I'm feeling strangled and I can't ever catch my breath

School is overwhelming. Why?

Becuase I struggle to reach the standards that are just too high

I've always been able to work on everything standerdized

But that was before I lost my motivation I'm just unenergized

Music and books are my only escape

They put me in a reality so much more great

Not finding peace in what people find normal...

Puts my brain in a quarrel

My mind and heart can't agree

On who or what I'm supposed to be

Even if i dressed more fomal

Would I still be seen as abnormal?
