Normalcy

Regard this as the day that I became myself, otherwise known as the first day that I’ve ever felt… normal.

Normal neither in a monotonous nor mundane sense but rather in a manner where I feel complete comfort in myself and the essence of my being, things that motivate me, things that I know I am capable of.

The wandering has seemed to stop and the ocean has ceased (allusion to Meet Me).

The water lays still,

gather my thoughts and succumb,

sweeping desert air.
