The North Star is the Way Home

The North Star promised to make it home safe that night

She said she was tired of leading

Of being the designated driver

Wander: Not all are lost

Wonder: I think I might be

But that’s good, right?

North Star: I don’t care.

The North Star wanted to leave that night

She promised to

If it was the last thing she’d do

Wander: It’s okay, everyone lusts for me

Wonder: But I still can’t find my way back

North Star: I still don’t care.

The North Star wanted to stop caring that night

She tried to leave

Tried to take a night off

The North Star wanted to lose her way home

The North Star was always home
