The NOs and The YESes

No control,

No marks to hide,

No taking its toll,

No scars inside.

No blackmail,

No verbal abuse,

No failing like a nail

With a hammer on you.

No manipulation,

No isolation,

No feeling like death by asphyxiation,

No constant aggravation.

No feeling encased,

Or all alone

No feeling like you’re being erased,

Or too far from your home.

They’re not abusive,

They’re not degrading,

They’re not intrusive,

They’re not invading.

Some time alone,

Some time apart,

Without your special other having to roam,

And without a cheating heart.

Yes to that kiss on the cheek,

To that kiss on the head,

But that kiss on the neck makes me weak.

Yes to gentle touches,

Sweet caresses,

Yes to deep clutches,

And hot messes.

Be happy,

Be healthy,

Avoiding stress

And frustration,

That is the key to any healthy and happy relation.
