Nostalgia

A sunset

A sunrise

A clear night when the stars are all out

A car ride with the windows down on a breezy day

A rainy night

The calming thunder

All of these things are beautiful

I see the beauty and I feel empty

Is it because of the memories?

I smell the summer breeze

and then I flash back to the way things used to be

Smiles

Laughs

Kisses

Running around the streets without a care in the world

Where did it go?

The beauty

The happiness

Where did it go?
