Nostalgia

She is standing there
Looking over the bare trees
imagining how good it would be
If they had leaves on them
And somewhere in the far future
She is standing at the same old spot
though the scenery has changed
Tall green trees stood before her
and blazing sun parched her face
Nostalgia hits her when
she remembers the autumn breeze
