NOT

I am Black

and you will not call me anything else

no

African-American

Afro-Poppin

crap.

You don’t agree with

“Black”?

then you shouldn’t have made that label

part of my history

and therefore

part of my identity.

You

are not

BLACK.

You shouldn’t have

given that to my ancestors

to pass it down to me

you shouldn’t have...

I am not going to check off the box

•“African-American”

I will not conform

Let me give you

a biology lesson.

Let me give you

a history lesson.

Let me give you

a

HIS

STORY

lesson.

The first human fossil

was found…

where?

In Ethiopia…

In Africa…

so…

we’re…

all…

“African-American”?

Ah…

so…

then…

there must be,

the African-Cubans

and the

African-Europeans,

and the

African-Australians

and the

African-rest-of-the-world-people.

If being african American,

is being of African Descent,

and living in America…

you better add a box

: •“Black”

Because

if you want to be

technical

my ancestors

were shipped as slaves

from

DOMINICA

not Africa.

So…

You want to be Politically…

“CORRECT”...

right?

NOT.
